Great cooking blow torch ….
After reading other reviews of several cooking torches prior to ordering, I was concerned that I needed to be a rocket scientist to make one of these things work. Such has not been the case. I found the BT500 worked as indicated and have had no difficulties using it. You do have to try it a couple of times to get the drift of its operation but after that – voile! Butane filling is not difficult. Creme Brulee with carmelized sugar has become a recurring dessert for the family. I have also had good luck with the mix kits and of course you must have a set of rammekins. The traditional recipes for Creme Brulee are a bit much for this old soldier.

This was a Christmas gift for my hubby, a professional chef. He had been wanting a kitchen torch and this one is nice, he has been enjoying it. Bought fuel seperately.
