This pan works great for making deep dish pizzas. You obviously can make thinner crust pizzas as well. This pan is very well made and should last for years to come. You season the pan like a cast iron skillet. I heavily olive oil the bottom and the sides and then put my crust inside the pan. The pizza will slide right out when its done baking (I cut my pizza on a cutting board not in the pan). As someone who loves pizza, I’m very happy with my purchase!

2nd Update: two months later: I have been using this pan for pretty much EVERYTHING! Cooked fresh chicken breasts with a little seasoning and olive oil and they turned out perfectly, also using it to reheat leftovers. Nothing sticks to this pan. It is seriously so easy to clean. The most I have had to do was rinse it in water, and dry it with a lint free towel and that is depending on how greasy the item is. If it’s not greasy I just use the towel. I have never had a pan this functional and easy to use. I plan on buying a couple more for the times we are cooking multiple items.

Update: four days later: I have kept this pan in my toaster oven and use it as my go to pan. I can put pretty much anything in this pan, it cooks evenly, cleans easily. Love it!! I do wish they had a smaller size as well, for when I am making more than one dish.

Best pan around!

For years we have tried to create a home pizza that was even remotely close to our favorite Chicago pizzas! Always we ended up with soggy crusts. So, these pans were a delightful surprise! They are heavy and well constructed! A little olive oil in the pan and a thick layer of cheese on the dough before the sauce, and we have not only a passable crust, but have fooled friends into thinking we ordered direct from a Chicago pizzeria!
