Good idea, but commercial-only size
I haven’t used these, because they’re the wrong size. This is a “full sheet” size, meaning twice the size of the very biggest cookie sheets that any normal person owns. You need a baking sheet that is 18 x 26 inches, which won’t even fit in most ovens. (Most ovens, even quite expensive ones, have an interior width of only 25″.)
So the idea is fantastic: you put this down on your baking sheet, you drape a sheet of cookie dough across it, you use a rolling pin to press the dough down and thus cut dozens of cookies in about ten seconds. The cookies fall through to the baking sheet, perfectly spaced. Lift up your scrap dough and cutting sheet, and you’re ready to go. There are videos on YouTube showing how it works. (You can also use it top-down to mark or cut cookies the old-fashioned way.) But unless you have a commercial-width oven and full-sheet pans, this product is only going to be frustrating.
