A bistro in your home
I bought two of these dishes at Le Bon Marche in Paris and wished that I had bought more. I tried getting them on a return trip, but they were not in stock. Finally, with six friends coming to dinner recently, I tried Amazon.com and Voila! they were delivered to my door.
These are beautiful dishes to look at and to use. Just plop a rinsed and drained escargot into each hole, top with some garlic-parsely butter, bake in a 400 F oven for 10 mintues or until the butter is bubbling, and enjoy a delicious entree (appetizer). No other tools (e.g., tongs, shell holders) are needed! Just just a small fork. Don’t forget the baguette! If your guests are like mine, the holes will be pretty clean when you put them in the dishwasher, but rest assured the dishes will come out sparking clean.
P.S. Twelve escargot per person may seem like a lot, but they’ll get gobbled up quickly.

Super fast delivery, excellent quality product. I’ve purchased less expensive plates, but the depth of holes on the new one are much deeper. You can even use it for stuffed mushrooms as well.
Perfect size
This escargot plate is perfect in size, holding 12 escargots. Those only with 6 sections are inadequate for me, as that is only a tease. Someone designed this one right! Recommended.
