Old stand by
Sturdy, beautiful. We bought this as a replacement for an identical bowl we received as a wedding present 18 years ago! The rubber no-slip base grips well on the countertop. Bowl surface tolerates electric mixing with no damage. The only limitation is that melamine is not microwavable.
Works and looks great!
You just can’t find melamine bowls and utensils in the U.S. anymore. But I found these on Amazon, made in Canada. I’ve used these for many years but eventually they break. So I was quite happy to find them, and now that I have them I use them daily. They are sturdy and fit the jobs I wanted them for. Plus they wash up easily in the dishwasher and nest for compact storage.
Part of the family
The first one lasted 32 years and only got retired because the top edge broke off when accidently fell off the counter and landed in just the wrong way. I was very glad to find a replacement.
