Reasonable price for great quality
This is a quality, solid cake stand. We purchased it to use for our wedding and put 3-4″ thick cheesecakes (6″, 9″, and 12″ diameters) on the tiers. They were pretty dense and heavy, but not at all a problem. The stand came with clear, rubbery “grips” to slide onto the rings which kept cake boards from sliding. This stand was elegant and simple. It didn’t interfere with or detract from the decorations of the cakes. Definitely the best combination of price and quality for our needs!
Mousse cake for wedding
We had mousse cake for our wedding, which you can’t stack (no stability). With this cake stand we got to have the feel of a tiered cake, and the photos, but still the delicious mousse cake which we love. It held up well, was strong, and looked nice.
Stand makes a pretty and unusual display.
My wedding cake was decorated with fresh flowers, and the florist designed small garlands along the curved pieces from one layer to the next. The design was more unusual (and I thought prettier) than the ordinary three layer wedding cake. Also, we incorporated the groom’s cake and the bride’s cake into one with the middle layer chocolate and the larger bottom layer and small top layer in white cake.
