Just what I’ve been searching for!

I had been looking all over for the perfect French/Dutch Oven – then I found it HERE on Amazon! I didn’t even know that Cuisinart made one until I found it here! AND for a fraction of the cost of what I WAS going to get (the Le Cruiset brand) I love this one and have used it at least once a week since it arrived! I love that you can braise the meat, right in the same pan (like they do on the cooking shows!) and pop it in the oven to slow cook – just like that! The clean up is so easy too! I was originally wanting a cobalt blue but now that I have the Cardinal Red – I LOVE IT! One of my best purchases at SUCH an awesome price! The 5 1/2 quart oval is perfect for doing pot roast for a family of 4-6 with plenty of room for carrots, onions and potatoes – my roasts have never tasted better! And with the Prime shipping, I got it shipped for FREE (and it’s a heavy pot!!)

I picked up this same item at TJ Maxx about a month ago and I LOVE IT! Although I have tons of cast iron, I had been wanting and needing an enamel covered dutch oven for quite awhile. I can’t say enough good about this one. It is holding up beautifully after getting heavy use and it cleans up so easily. It has definitely made my life in the kitchen easier. Don’t pay the over-inflated prices for Le Creuset. This Cuisinart will do the exact same thing for a fraction of the price.

Friends call me Queen of the One Pot Meal…I love to cook soups and stews and anything with blended flavors from long slow cooking…for years I successfully used a traditional cast iron dutch oven, but was always frustrated that it was not attractive on the table for family style meals and leftovers could not be stored in it due to rust…not wanting to pay for the big name brand, I hunted around until I found the an enameled cast iron casserole in the desired color, size, shape and price I wanted…THIS POT IS IN CONSTANT USE…it rarely gets back to the cabinet shelf…it’s washed and put right back to use…the Cuisinart enameled cast iron casserole is the BEST POT IN MY KITCHEN!…
