Alan Silverwood 7 inch Loose Base Panettone Pan 41973

Kulich Pan

If they labeled this a Panettone / Kulich pan they would probably sell a lot more. It’s impossible to find a Kulich pan in this country, despite the millions of Russians and Ukranians that live here. This pan works great. I was bothered by how thin it was (considering it wasn’t cheap), but when I gave it to my wife (the Russian baking master) she loved it. In fact she loved it so much, she made two Kulich this Easter.

It got my wife’s double thumbs up, so mission accomplished.

Great product

Pan is wonderful. Great quality, practical and easy to clean. Highly recommend this pan. It is very hard to find a quality aluminum panettone pan with sides high enough, and this one is just right. Love it.

Perfect! Heats fast and evenly, has a loose bottom like a quiche or springform pan. Incredible!

Initially I decided to order this because I wanted to find the perfect pan to make Panettone or Kulich in and both reviews of the item were 5 star. Yes I know you can use a coffee can but I buy whole beans and grind my own coffee so I don’t have coffee cans. Second I realize you can use paper pans…just not my thing. I like pans that are re-usable, have a loose bottom like quiche pans or springform pans and finally because I think given the alloy of this pan it would spread heat fast and evenly and thus reducing the baking time. A caveat HAND WASH ONLY not suitable for dishwashers but that’s true of a lot of bake ware.

I followed the use instructions exactly namely that cooking temperatures given in most recipes can be reduced by 50-60 degree Fahrenheit on US ovens or 10-15 degrees celius overseas and as well as checking the progress of the panettone after 2/3 the normal baking time…perfect and I really appreciated the “heads up” this pan in great spread heat quickly and…
