Beautiful, but smallish
I had to return this, but it wasn’t the seller’s fault. It clearly states that it’s 3 inches high, I just didn’t notice that. It is very lovely, just too small for our cake. It’s solid metal of some sort, and kind of heavy, definitely a higher quality item than the silver plastic stuff I see in the stores. It comes in an elegant black gift box and has a clear plastic blade that attaches to the base to make it stand straight on the cake.
On a smaller cake it would be perfect, or maybe even on the top cupcake in a tiered arrangement (without the stabilizing blade). It would be lost on a full-size cake. Most of the cake toppers I’ve seen have been 4-1/2 inches tall.
Amazon return policy rocks – even though it was clearly and entirely my error, it only cost me five bucks to return it.
