High Quality Really Square Pan
I bought two of these pans after using some other Parrish pans which convinced me of the quality of the brand. These cake pans are really square – fabulous for proper square edges. It does make cleaning a bit tricky as some cake will stick in the very square corners even if you properly grease and flour the corners but as proper square edges were desired, I conclude this is inevitable (I avoid non-stick cookware and prefer to line with paper than use non-stick). I also bake brownies in the pans – although removal of brownies from the greased/floured pans was possible, removal was much easier by lining with paper (I normally do this for moist brownies anyway). Blueberry buckle baked in the pan removed beautifully by just greasing/flouring and pans were easy to clean after a little soaking (toothpick used around the edges/corners). As I handwash all cake pans, cannot comment on the impact of dishwasher use.
Great pan
I ordered this pan to make a decorative cake for my sons birthday. I am very happy with this pan. It is professional quality, at a great price. It has square corners, which makes it easier to decorate and make the cake look professional, but also makes it hard to get the baked cake out of the pan. I highly recomment the use of parchment paper in the bottom and sides of the pan, this makes it very easy to get the baked cake out of the pan.
