If you are a whoopie pie fan, the expense is worth it
Having whoopie pies shipped is a bit on the nutty side for most people, but being a Lancaster, PA Amish country fan, who used to drive 300 miles to buy whoopie pies in bulk, it is not too much out of line. I live too far away now to drive so I took a shot and ordered them. And they lived up to my expectations, for the most part. The only issue was that we had alot of snow, and the transport company would not deliver them or leave them anywhere, so when they got here, the dry ice had melted and they were a bit "soggy." Certainly not the fault of the seller, but I will remember to be careful if I order them again and make sure the weather will be good.
