Terrific for Microwave “Baking”

Got these for use with a microwave for “baking”.

Tested the bundt pan with Duncan Hines Classic chocolate cake mix, and the even while hot (a no-no), pressed the cake out and only a few bits sticked to the pan itself. So small were those bits, it’s not even noteworthy.

These pans are 10x easier to use than glass or metal, and the tedious grease and flouring of traditional bake pans are nevermore. The baking goods just slide or pop out without that messy step to prevent sticking…even in a microwave!

4 stars not due to construction or cooking, but for cleaning. Silicon is a dust/lint magnet. So DON’T use paper towels or any cloth that is lint heavy to dry them even on the outside. Bar towels (type used for drying out glasses) only.

Excellent pans for what they’re designed to do. Amazed at the ease of use and clean up afterwards (a major pain with baking as the batter is so sticky). Was skeptical of them and originally just got this set to…

PME Tilting Turntable

Best turntable I have owned so far

I have owned this turntable for awhile.I do cake decorating as a hobby and after having cheaper turntables that could not tilt the way this one can, decided to spend a bit extra for a better product. My cakes stay on the turntable without an issue, and the table can tilt so much that it is far easier decorate the sides of the cake.

The only issue i have so far is that the top is a bit difficult to clean and i don’t want to scrub too hard as it seems it would remove it (since this keeps the cake from slipping I would not want that). The turntable still turns smoothly and it has made cake decorating so much easier for me.

I love this turntable!

I purchased this turntable on Amazon a while ago and I’ve been using it. I *love* it. It holds the angle and is wonderful for laying fondant work or doing string work. It’s extremely strong, and I love the no slip grip. The only two things that keep me from giving this a 5 star rating are first, the turntable doesn’t lock. So, I still have to use my Wilton turntable that locks to smooth my fondant. Second, I wish the turntable was a 12", instead of a 10". It’s a pain when your cake is hanging over the edge of the turntable. Other than that, I love it, and it’s used quite a bit!

I decorate a lot and this turntable is very handy when decorating the sides of the cake.

My only dislike is that it’s a bit tall. I’d like to use it as my primary turntable but the height is an issue causing my arm and shoulder to tire quickly. But all in all, it’s very well built and a great piece of equipment. =)

Gourmac Holiday Cookie Stamps, Set of 6

They are fun and easy to use and my family thinks they are great so that makes it a smart purchase.

Real help with holidcay cookies

The set of 6 Gourmac Holiday Cookies stamps were a great help in our family’s holiday baking. They seemed to work well on the basic “sugar shapes” dough we use. They were even better on my shortbread recipe. The stamps made it easy to cut cookies with designs, whether we rolled out the dough or made it into small, slightly flattened balls before stamping. The designs were clear, and the cookies were attractive plain, with a simple colored glaze, or colored sugars sprinkled on them. All in all, a great time-saver.

These cookie stamps work perfectly. They give a clear imprint on each cookie. No effort. No dough sticking to the stamp. I highly recommend these stamps. I am looking for this type of stamp for the other holidays. Does anyone know if they make other patterns?

Tramontina Prima 3 Quart 18/10 Stainless Steel Tri-Ply Base Covered Casserole

Pro quality and perfect for my household

Disclaimer: I received this as a gift and would have never thought to buy one for myself. That said, this is perhaps the finest piece of cookware I own.

The nicest feature is the way this pot is constructed allows an even heat from not only the bottom, but the sides as well. It’s the layer of aluminum sandwiched between the layers of stainless steel that allow the heat to evenly distribute.

This is not especially important on a stove top, but makes a significant difference when used in an oven. A case in point: when cooking tortilla de papas in other casserole pots in an oven the bottom seems to cook much faster, while the middle layer takes longer. With this pot the middle cooks at near the same rate as the bottom because the sides will heat evenly and retain the heat. Note that you cannot use it in an over heated higher than 500 degrees F.

Head Chefs Sil-Pin 00468 Traditional Rolling Pin with Ball Bearings and Rubber Handles, Red

A static cling beast, but nonstick performance is great

Got a chance to try out my new roller when I made pizza and bagels recently. Although I liked how well it did not stick to the dough, it picked up every little thing around it. I had some cornmeal on my surface and when I set it aside for a moment, picking it back up again meant I had to rinse and dry due to it attracting the cornmeal grains. I know silicone is known for having static issues, and it easily rinses off, but still a little annoying…

Other than that, it’s attractive, the weight is decently heavy, and I didn’t have a hard time getting my dough stretched in a nice evenly round shape. With my old wooden roller, it was always a chore getting a nice shape due to all the sticking. So now I can roll out my dough without loading up with flour and changing the texture of my product. I was concerned that without any traction from the non-stick surface, my dough wouldn’t stretch. But, the weight of the roller helps with that and it’s much easier.

Handles feel…

Perfect pin!

The only reason I bought this rolling pin from the states was because it is a lot cheaper than the UK. The item description was exactly as described and delivery was well in time for christmas. Easy to use and easy to clean, glides beautifully over pastry and icing. I would recommend all cake/ pastry makers to invest in one of these….a lot better than one of those cheap wooden ones.

Love this rolling pin! it’s the best one I’ve ever used and I’ve been cooking/baking for over 40 years. I love how the pastry doesn’t stick to the rolling pin. It is no problem for me not to submerge this in water. I’ve read where that was a complaint by some, but sometimes you have to shake old traditions to take advantage of new items on the market. I recommend this to anyone who uses a rolling pin.

The Green Teaist Matcha Sifter

Well made addition for Matcha Tea

I have been using this daily since receiving it. It arrived well packed and in perfect condition.

The only thing I’d have wished for is that the top lid be a screw on lid for traveling. It’s snug, but I wouldn’t want the green of Matcha in my suitcase.

The screen is a perfect fine screen for Matcha. I store about 1 week of tea within this container at a time and use the bamboo paddle to “measure” the tea I’m going to use.

It is good looking, well made, and a clean way to work with Matcha.

It’s a little pricey but the stainless and design is high quality and I am happy with this purchase.

The products made by Barazzoni are the extreme best in the world. Fabulous heat rendition, at low inputs, quick cooking, easy cleaning (except the exterior). I rather enjoy cleaning and polishing the exterior copper after each use – the pans looks so spectacular when cleaned. This works equally as well in the oven, up to 450F, when cooking racks of lamb and other roasts. Absolutely worth the very high price for a piece of total quality.

Stainless Steel Cake Stand 22″ Round

Poor quality & poor customer service

This cake stand looks beautiful in the pictures so I ordered it for my daughter’s wedding cake. This stand is NOT LEVEL, which means the cake is going to tilt & may slide apart.

I emailed the seller, gave my name and phone number, explained that the cake stand was 1/2" lower on one side and requested they send me a replacement. It’s like they didn’t even read my email! They didn’t bother to call me, they just gave me the standard reply, which was to offer a refund. I made it clear that I wanted a replacement. I have already paid $14 for shipping and I want another cake stand.

I don’t normally write a negative review but this lack of customer care is very irksome

Defective product that looks terrible! Company refused to replace it!

I was VERY disappointed in the product and when I contacted the company, they never responded! I filed an A to Z claim with Amazon, and they said the product was what was shown in the picture. This isn’t true and I sent very close-up photos to show them that. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY. I won’t be using it at my wedding as planned – thanks to a deceptive company and Amazon’s inefficiency.

Mixing bowls

Great mixing bowls but I wish there were covers for all the bowls, there is a cover only for the largest bowl. Otherwise, great details on the bowls.

Extremely Shallow Spout

I’m not impressed with these bowls because of the spouts. The spouts look nothing like the picture; they are very shallow. The bowls themselves are nice and large and have the rubber on the entire bottom, but the whole reason I bought them was for pouring batter out of the bowl and not making a mess. With such a shallow spout there’s barely a difference.

Great but could be better

I love these mixing bowls. They are well made and the rubber side to angle the bowl is a nice touch. However, I thought there were going to be lids for each bowl. I was a little disappointed that there isn’t. This would be a 5 star fantastic product if every bowl had a lid. I would even purchase another set if that were the case. Hint Hint!

Curious Chef 27-Piece Foundation Set

Brilliant!

I purchased this item directly from the manufacturer due to the fact that Amazon was out of stock and it just arrived today. In addition to the foundation set I also purchased the pizza party kit. I was very dissapointed with the pizza party set due to the cheapness of the aprons – I had incorrectly assumed they would be fabric as this set’s is. Anyway, I was a bit hesitant to open this set after that dissapointment. I was so happy to see it is all perfect. The apron and mitts are thick and well made. The toque is adorable and the tools are all very well made. They are a bit bigger than I thought they would be – I thought they would be more kid sized however, I do not think this will be too much of an issue. The bowl is absolutely brilliant. In addition to the rubber footed bottom, it has a see through plastic cover with a hole in the center that will allow the child to mix in the bowl and not spill the contents everywhere. Good mixture of things

My 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter is always helping in the kitchen. She didn’t need anymore pretend things but real utensils sized for a child and this is perfect. Her favorite chapter book has become a cookbook!! She’s always planning the next food adventure.

I love Le Creuset and cannot say enough wonderful things about the company! I made sure to register for as many baking stoneware pieces as my kitchen could hold! This rectangular baker is a staple in my kitchen. I use it all the time for everything from casseroles to pork loins. This baker cooks very evenly. It wipes clean, and even if it doesn’t, you can stick it in the dishwasher! The violet color is vibrant and gorgeous!

12-1/2″ Cast Aluminum Heat Sink Speed Bake – American Metalcraft HS121212

Works great!

If your deep dish pizzas are coming out a little soggy in the middle, this is the best solution available, albeit a little expensive. Second best would be a bottom ventilated deep-dish pan from Lloyd Industries in Spokane WA. Note that American Metalcraft used to make a 9″ and 7″ model (the HS999 and HS777), but those have been discontinued for several years and I’ve yet to see one for sale online (used or new).

This heat sink will only work in 14″ or larger round pans (although that is squeezing it, and you will have a few holes clearly apparent in your crust about 1/2″ in from the outer edge unless you break off the heat sink’s 6 corner pins; it is intended for 16″ or larger round pans, to allow space without the crust getting puncture holes in it). It is too tight for 13″ pans without breaking off the 6 corner pins (and you definitely would have unsightly holes in the edge crust anyway). It will barely fit into a 12″ square pan, but that’s only if two corner pins are…

Marcus Unity 15-by-11-Inch Roasting Pan

Got this pan for $9.99 at a retail overstock store!

My wife got me this pan from Ollie’s (an overstock retail store) for Christmas. She only paid $9.99 for it, which is the steal of the century with an msrp of $130 and Amazon price of $69.

I love it! It rinses clean with hot/warm water even after burning sugar in it (a glaze ran off the meat). Well worth any price, but so much better at what my wife paid.

FYI THE DESCRIPTION IS WRONG. SIZE IS 11.5 X 15

The size of this pan is 11.5 x 15 and NOT 11.5 x 17 as the description would have you believe. I received the pan yesterday and though its a fabulous, very heavy and elegantly finished high quality item, I am sending it back because I expected the 11.5 x 17 size. I have alerted Amazon about the incorrect description but they have not done anything about it as of yet.

My Mistake

I had to return this roasting pan after reading that it was safe to use at 400 degrees and less.

Enjoy by ThermaWare 3.12 Quart Mother of Pearl and Red Oval Thermal Server with Dome Lid

Very nice!

This is an excellent server that works well to take hot foods to potlucks and picnics–or to keep food hot if pre-baked for a party at home. It holds the heat very well, especially if you follow the instructions. My only tiny complaint is that the locking mechanism on the lid is not quite as tight or secure as I would like it to be. But it has held during transport–I guess it just makes me nervous that it doesn’t lock into place more securely.

On the PLUS side, it’s easy to spot your pot when you are leaving the potluck! Several friends have oohed and aahhed over it because it eliminates the whole “Saran Wrap/aluminum foil covered dish wrapped in a tea towel in a cardboard box from Costco” approach to keeping hot food hot.

I also have kept some cold foods cool in it. The removable casserole dish is very nice and, of course, could be used alone.

Overall, a great addition to my kitchen!

Great piece.

Great piece to protect food and keep at good temperature. Easy to transport. Easy to clean. Server did keep food hot for five hours until ready to serve.

Great for hot or cold food

These servers are GREAT! I got my son-in-law one as a gift after he used mine. He uses it to keep fried fish fillets warm until all are ready to be carried to the table so that everyone has warm fish. If you plan on carrying cold dishes to covered dish or picnic simply freeze the ceramic dish, put your food in it when you’re ready to go and cover. Keeps food cold for hours. Everyone who sees my dish wants to know where I got it.

Thunder Group Coupe-Style Aluminum Pizza Tray, 18 Inch

Good product.

This is a good pizza tray, however, I would suggest that you do not put it in the dishwasher because it destroys the finish.

Great for the money.

I picked up the 15″ and 14″ of these for less than three bucks a piece. For the money they are great when on sale.

You do need to preheat them with the oven if you want to have a nice crispy crust. I haven’t had problems with the finish on mine at all, but I hand wash all my dishes anyway(habit). They still look brand new/stain free. They make great little serving trays and what not too.

In all honesty, you can just use a cookie sheet and get the same results. I always prefer a crispy crust and sometimes when in a rush, I’ll cook a pizza directly on my oven racks and then just pull the rack out and slide the pizza onto a cookie sheet to cut/serve. You risk getting pizza bits all over your oven though. You can just use a preheated cookie sheet as well if you want to save a few bucks but these pans look more appealing.

Cons: The only con is that these are aluminum and if you use a steel pizza cutter on them you can dent them/scratch them. You should be…

Alternate use for a great pizza pan

I actually bought several of these pans in different sizes and use them as lids for frying pans. I punched a hole in the center and added an inexpensive wooden knob as a handle. Works great. They are good quality pans that are great for pizza and also for lids.

So far so good! It has cooked my brownie’s just fine. Nice and even. Everyone has seemed to love them. I do spay some bakers PAM into it. I have zero sticking issues. I was surprized at the quality of this tray! It’s well built. The handles on the side make it easy to pick up.

Kaiser Bakeware LaForme Plus 13- by 9-Inch Rectangular Springform Pan

Wonderful

This pan makes baking and frosting a 9 x 13-inch cake so much easier. I liked mine so much that I purchased two more to give as gifts.

Love It

I love being able to bake a cake, frost it and serve it on the same pan. I no longer have to worry if all the cake will come out of the pan or if it will crack. This pan is also wonderful for crumb crusts and bar cookies. The pan is expensive, but I totally love it! I’d like to get a second one. I recently made Mississippi Mud Brownies and Peaches and Cream Bars for a party. Both are gooey messy and hard to serve. If I had two of these pans serving wouldn’t have been a problem at all!

Think and Fragile

This springform pan is very thin and fragile, only the base is sturdy. Easily dented. It is not worth paying $55.95 for it.

This very heavy enameled cast iron dutch oven is of perfect quality, heats very evenly on stove top or in oven making casseroles or stews. Massive dishes, very nice

I didn’t realize just how big these are, but they are wonderful for parties. Lovely dishes. Superb glaze. They heat evenly and are lovely to serve in. They are heavy, which could be a drawback if you want light cookwear, but I prefer robust cooking dishes. I have several pieces by Appolia, and I am happy with all of them.

CorningWare 1083955 French 14-Piece Bakeware Set, White

Nice cookware

So far, so good. Have had it for a month. Unfortunately, my old Corningware was made in the U.S., not China, and I do sense a quality difference. Time will tell. It’s pretty and I love the fact it has lids.

Good solid product – Long term fail

I knew what to expect when I bought this since this replaced an identical set that had slowly through attrition been much reduced in the number of pieces. Washes well in the dish washer and I have not had any problems with the microwave. I only gave this a four star review because of the actual number of pieces. I do not really consider the three plastic tops and the metal cooling dock to be bake ware.

After just two months of light use, the round casserole dish cracked and one of the ramekins chipped. I have revised my review from 4 stars to 2 stars on this. I am not sure if Corning’s quality is slipping or if the Amazon marketplace is somehow dealing in “seconds”. In any event buyer beware.

Cheap Chinese product.

Cheap Chinese product. Small defects in many places. Not as white as pictures, more of an off white. I have CorningWare which was made in the USA. This is a very different product. In my opinion CorningWare sold out and moved manufacturing to China to boost profits while sacrificing quality. I’m very disappointed.

Esprit de Cuisine by Appolia Fish Shape Set of 2 Bakers, Deep Blue

Wonderful!

The large bowl will hold approximately 6 cups (which takes you to about 1/2 inch of the top edge) and the small dish is really small- and will only hold 1/2 cup- so it’s great for sauce or gravy.

I love the large dish for poaching fish, making fish quiche or a fish frittata. You can put it in the microwave, oven and freezer. And on top of being functional, it’s a beautiful piece of kitchen art.

Mason Cash Mixing Bowl, Cane, 6-Quart, Size 12,11.5″ x 5.25″

Kitchen workhorse!

This is a perfect size for large batches of batter, pie filling, or dough. Good balance and weight distribution provide stability during mixing, and the shallow, roomy interior allows for good mixing “action”. Thick rim gives a firm grip. White interior makes it easy to see contents and makes it easier to clean. I purchased this as a replacement for a much heavier Roseville, Ohio Pottery bowl that I had for 20 years which fell and broke. I was disappointed that the Roseville bowls were no longer available, and looked high and low for something similar. I finally found this one, and, after getting used to the lighter weight, I think it’s a superior product as the Roseville bowl lacked all of the above characteristics. If you do large quantity baking or cooking, this bowl is indispensable.

Not the same…

These are not the same mixing bowls that were produced prior to the sale and acquisition of Mason Cash in 2004-2007. The older bowls, which both my mother had in the ’70s/’80s and I purchased from Sur La Table in the early 2000s, were thicker and of a better quality. These are thinner and lighter in weight with a more pronounced cane pattern and a whiter interior. Disappointing. Wish I had stocked up on the old ones.

Sometimes Bowls Just Don’t Fit The Decor, But Have To Stay

(I rarely give All-Stars so that when I find a product or service warranting an All-Star review, I have that extra option. This bowl is an ALLSTAR/5Star bowl).

I hate beige. I really do. But when I buy bowls for couples starting out, friends getting their first apartment, whatever, I buy a Mason Cash.

That’s why I got over beige, at least with Mason Cash.

When I bought my first Mason Cash years ago, I bought a companion bowl, also of vintage design, with a blue exterior, and thick rim and a white interior. It chipped so long ago, I forget what happened. I have very small kitchen and a useless sink. People were not intended to cook in my kitchen. The thing is, I’ve banged this bowl, I’ve knocked it about, I’ve dropped it at least twice, and it’s as pristine as could be. There is no chip, no crack, no dull spot anywhere.

Silikomart Pastille Jelliflex Mold

Reliable, sturdy

My husband uses this to make jelly candies & pastilles. They release wonderfully & these are the perfect size for a small amuse bouche. About the diameter of a U.S. quarter. His application uses sugars & gelatins but this mold would probably work well for chocolates as well. Handles the high heat of the melted glucose etc. with no problem & the frame helps keep it stable during cooling phase.

Rachael Ray Stoneware 9-Inch by 13-Inch Rectangular Lasagna Lover Pan, Orange

Piece of junk that no one stands behind

In February of 2012 I purchased this lasagna pan. I loved it when I received it; it had a nice heavy weight to it, solid handles, and a beautiful color that looked great during baking and on the table. In fact, I liked it so much, that I requested the whole Rachel Ray line for the holidays and was planning on buying one for my Mom, who saw it and loved it. Since February I used it a handful of times, no higher than 400 degrees, always hand washed and never subjected it to extreme temperature changes. This weekend, as I was using it, I heard a very loud POP. When I inspected the pan to see what had happened I saw a large semi-circular crack running along the bottom, which within minutes began leaking. Shocked that this happened under normal circumstances I called Amazon, who told me to call RachelRay.com, which I did, who told me to call the manufacturer, Meyer Corp. Fine, not great

I love the color and the ease of cleanup. A few minuses: the sides are very tall which makes it difficult to store. It’s slightly larger than an average lasagna pan so your favorite recipe won’t turn out quite the same. If you also use it to store, the height of the sides makes it hard to fit in the fridge, plus you have to cover the handle openings too so your food won’t dry out.

Pan not very deep

The picture is deceptive. The pan depth is only 2.5 inches at it’s lowest point. That is only half an inch deeper than a standard 9×13 pan.

Kaiser La Forme Springform Pan, Round: 10″

Love it!

Have tried others, this is the best. Used it to bake a pumpkin cheesecake for my granddaughters and husband. Will never buy another brand again.

Best ever for cheescakes

We now have two of these and they are the best. The quailty of the metal allows for an even heat to cook the cheescakes. We won’t use anything else.

Kitchen Supply 8150 White Porcelain Pizza/Cake Plate 14 Inch Diameter

just perfect

This is just what I have been needing for the birthday cakes that I make just about monthly. I have always used dinner plates before, but the shape was not really suited for cutting a cake. The only problem that I have is not having a cake storer big enough to fit it into after the big celebration.

Perfect cake plate

I was looking for a plate big enough to turn out upside down cakes. Even in a 8×8 pan the edges slopped over. This is dsecribed as a pizza pan but is just the thing I was looking for. The plate is plain without a rim or decoration so the cakes look great!

Not high quality

This plate is a very thick, low quality porcelain. It does the job but lacks the aesthetic component. If you are looking for an elagent plate, this is not it.

Kaiser Bakeware LaForme Plus 9-Inch Springform Pan

This is the best springform pan available!

I believe that this is the best springform pan available on the market. I was introduced to the Kaiser bakeware line many years ago during a cheesecake class at a housewares speciality store. The instructor stated, “This is the best springform pan that I have ever used” and I fully agree. The pan is well constructed and long lasting. I have been using the Kaiser La Forme 10 inch springform pan for over 10 years. When I needed a 9 inch pan, there was no question that I would purchase Kaiser again. This Kaiser La Forme Plus 9 inch springform seems to be even better quality than the Kaiser La Forme line. The description states that the pan has the latest nonstick coating and a scratch-proof enamel surface. The pan also seems to be slightly heavier and the buckle is much larger. Although the base is cut resistant, I always line with parchment paper and cut very carefully. So far, there are no scratches. Well Made Springform Pan

This pan does what it is advertised to do. It is leak proof as far as the ingredients inside the pan won’t leak out. Don’t be fooled by leak proof though, because water will leak into the pan unless you wrap the pan in aluminum foil first. It is cut resistant. Pan is heavy weight and durable. Well made.

Heavy duty, but still some minor leaking

This is the best springform we’ve had, but even this one leaks a bit around the edges. The unique bottom pan does a good job of minimizing any mess caused by a leak.

Dragon Heart Cake Topper

Wilton Snoopy Cake Pan

Good condition. Can’t believe I paid so much for this item, but I am a Snoopy lover, so it was worth it. Came with plastic faceplate but used free-hand application for facial features. Only minus is when I baked cake using this pan, some of the outlines(typewriter, for example) did not appear.

Cook’s Choice Better Baker Tri Pack

Fun!

I am so pleased with this product. Over the Christmas holiday I was making bread bowls for family, friends and neighbors. I am still learning the amount of dough to use and the time to keep them in the oven. (It is different than what I use for my loaves of bread). I use my own bread dough recipe have not had any problems with removing the bowls the from the pan. I plan on getting the 5" bowls (which I ordered more) because I found this size better for adults for their soup or chili.

Calphalon Unison Nonstick 16″ Roaster

Excellent Quality & Easy Clean Up

The Calphalon Unison Roasting Pan is a solid well-made roaster and is very easy to clean up. Make sure you read the “Use & Care” pamphlet that comes with it. Before your first use, you must wash it with warm water, dishwashing liquid and a non-abrasive sponge or soft bristle brush then dry it. After the initial wash, wipe the interior with a light coat of cooking oil to condition the cooking surface. As other reviewers have said to ensure it’s authenticity it will say Toledo, OH USA on the bottom of the pan.

When it’s authentic, you’ll know it

I didn’t purchase my Calphalon Unison roaster through Amazon.com, but through a chef’s outlet store at a mall. (Because there was a small scratch in the non-stick, I was able to obtain the roaster at a very affordable price.) When you receive the roaster, check the underside – it should say Calphalon, SEAR, Toledo, Ohio. Mine has those words and I can report it cooks and cleans up flawlessly.

Please don’t be put off by the bad reviews. When the pan is authentic it is a top-notch item and well worth the price. I purchased mine for a Thanksgiving turkey and gave it a test run with roast chicken. It was the easiest chicken I’ve ever cooked. Even a novice can cook like a pro with this superb roasting pan.

Brilliant!

I bought this from a local home store and feel compelled to write a review only because it’s a brilliant product. This is not my first Calphalon Unison product, but it’s my first roasting pan. Previously I’ve used cheap aluminum pans that are disposable. My birds were cooked unevenly, I had problems with browning, control of the juices was hard.

Well, not anymore. This pan is outstanding. The rack lifts the meat up off the bottom of the pan so the heat can get all around it. My first choice, a turkey, came out golden brown and delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, the thighs were the same temperature as the breast and nothing but the wings ended up overcooked (they always do so I wasn’t surprised). It’s big enough for a turkey, or maybe two chickens. You could probbaly roast an entire rib roast primal (prime rib anyone?).
