Looks well made. Seller states “made in Japan” but there are no markings on item stating that. However the quality and workmanship indicates that it was most likely made in Japan as the copper banding his heavy, soldered and tightly fitted to bowl.
the real deal
This is a quality sushi bowl. I love the copper bands around the side. It is however, not a small bowl. Still, I can and do use it if I am making sushi for one! East clean up, and I am sure that in time it will develop a great patina.
